Arthas

I begged him to get off his butt and go to Wal Mart with me. Little did I know there was going to be a lady outside with free adorable kittens.  Ryan let out a squeal of approval and picked one up. I knew we were going to get him as soon as he held him. Great. That's okay...I love him too. And he is super cute. We named him Arthas and if you don't know where that came from you are super lame. : P

Thanks to the military and how nobody knows how to do their job, we can't get Turbo. We got housing and the rent and utilities were supposed to come out of our BAH. (Which we applied for and they said everything was fine.) Apparently it got denied cause $1200 or more was missing from his account. Everything was coming out of his base pay. They are going to pay us back but it is going to take several weeks and they should've notified us that our BAH didn't go though...But they didn't. Now we have bills to pay and an empty bank account. Good thing I have money saved otherwise we would be screwed. Thanks Navy. Way to look out for your boys.

Cold Nights

It's windy here tonight...again. The power went out five times yesterday, and the lights are now starting to flicker. I guess this is one of the pleasures of living on an island. Something I'll definately have to get used to. Good thing my laptop is charged. A movie in candle light with a gallon of ice cream sounds amazing. Laziness period sound great compared to cleaning, organizing, or unpacking. This house is slowly coming together. It's starting to feel like home. Something I think I've needed for a long time. Things are starting to change for the better, and this is just the beginning.
